During a successful 18-year career as a Royal Marine Commando, having joined from Liverpool University where he studied Law, Justin undertook a variety of challenging leadership appointments from frontline operational service in Kuwait, Bosnia and Iraq to programme director roles in the Ministry of Defence. In his career, he was awarded the prestigious Commando Medal, received a 3 Star Commendation for his work in the Ministry of Defence and left in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Justin is a leadership and resilience consultant and executive coach. He has a passion for turning strategy into action with a strong focus on wellbeing. He is adept at creating engaged high-performance teams, improving organisational processes and developing executives.
Well known as a people person, combined with his extensive skill set and experience from several sectors, Justin holds a Master’s Degree, is a Certified Wraw Practitioner, is Prince 2 qualified, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Chartered Management Institute qualified executive coach, and practitioner in EQi, MiRo and SDI psychometric tools. He works at a range of levels from Management Teams to Boards, in a practical and straightforward manner.
Justin enjoys time with his wife in Devon in the South West, plus coaching an u16’s rugby team and mentoring Royal Marine Young Officers undertaking their training. A kite surf instructor, he tries to stay fit and follows the fortunes of Exeter Chiefs and Liverpool FC.
